Tindall Corporation Expands Virginia Division
Manufacturing Facility
SPARTANBURG, SC—Tindall Corporation announces that a major expansion is under way at its Virginia Division manufacturing facility, located off Route 460 in Dinwiddie County. Once completed, the operational capability of the expanded facility will nearly double the current output of precast, prestressed concrete building system components.
A new office building, expanded support facilities, additional storage capability and infrastructure improvements are included in the expansion, along with significant additions to equipment. These will enable the Virginia Division to enhance production efficiency, better utilize the existing enclosed production facility and help meet the growing demand for precast, prestressed structures in the region.
During the expansion, Tindall anticipates adding up to 80 new jobs in production, support, technical and clerical functions.
The expanded facility is scheduled for completion by the summer of 2008, a year that will mark the twentieth anniversary of Tindall’s opening the Dinwiddie County plant to provide quality precast, prestressed building systems to the mid-Atlantic region. The facility’s master plan allows room for further expansion.
